  • The aim of the project was the development and subsequent production of a highly efficient, rotational speed- and torque stable (vector control), fanless dual frequency inverter with 1 kW continuous power and 50% overload capability per engine. Also appreciable are the rough area of application (among other things, dirt, conductive dust) as well as the additional integrated peripherals (sensors, actuators, stepper motor, bus connection). The inverter can be operated with 230V AC power supply and optional equipped with a PFC (Power Factor Correction). Thereby lower system perturbations and also the wide voltage range (90V-264V) can be realized.

  • The aim of the project was the development and production of a modular expandable controller in order to regulate 64 blinds motors simultaneously. Operation is via a building control system as well as manually via digital inputs (external push-button). The control unit is parametrized via a serial interface. In order to determine the exact position of the motors, an encoder is provided.

Project requirements

  • The aim of the project was the development of a waterproof dual frequency converter for the most adverse conditions, in order to control a shock absorber test bench in car workshops. Due to the use under particularly harsh environmental conditions - rain water, oil or other fluid loss - the housing had to correspond IP67. This meant that the cooling had to be realized without a fan or ventilation slots. Additional requirements were a quick and physical verification of the shock absorbers, an automatic test start after loading the test panels, a fully automatic test sequence, as well as the possibility of frequency controlled noise detection.

Project requirements

  • The aim of the project was the development and production of engine and device control for a Mobile Column Lift in various deployments and environmental conditions. A particular challenge is the suitability for especially heavy loads, but also the everyday operation of garages or breakdown services under changing environmental influences. The individual columns of the lifting platform are both, wireless with battery and SIL-2 compliant communication via radio, as well as stationary operated with power supply and CAN bus. Due to the necessary electronic synchronization control in uneven load distribution and to the applicable safety monitoring of the possibly radio-operated system, the functional safety of the composite poses a major challenge. In battery mode is a simultaneous operation of up to eight columns, in network operation of up to twelve columns possible. Each column is equipped with an operating element.
